Have you ever felt like your prayers bounced off the ceiling?
What if I told you that the answer often begins before the prayer is spoken?
“Before they call, I will answer; while they are yet speaking, I will hear.” – Isaiah 65:24
Prayer is not wishful thinking—it’s a spiritual exchange between you and God. What determines its effectiveness is not how loud you pray, but what backs your words.
In Acts 10, Cornelius wasn’t even saved, yet God answered him with angelic visitation. Why?
Because his prayers and generosity became a memorial before God.
His giving moved heaven.
Let’s be clear—giving doesn’t manipulate God. But it moves Him.
Most people give out of principle, or don’t give at all because of fear. But we must give and pray from identity—as children of God.
You Don’t Pray Toward Authority – You Pray From It
“And raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” – Eph 2:6
You’ve already been seated with Christ. Pray like it.
Jesus teaches us a method in Matthew 6:
- Praise – Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be Your name.
- Priority – Your Kingdom come, Your will be done.
- Provision – Give us this day our daily bread.
- Pardon – Forgive us as we forgive.
- Power – Deliver us from evil.
- Praise again – For Yours is the Kingdom.
Developing a Prayer Life:
- Make Prayer a Priority – Shut the door (Matt 6:6).
- Choose a Set Time – God met Daniel, Cornelius, and others at appointed hours.
- Have a Dedicated Place – Jesus prayed in solitude.
- Use a Pattern – Pray with purpose and direction.
Final Thoughts:
Poverty isn’t a bank balance—it’s a spiritual disorder.
Scarcity, blame, and unbelief will always block spiritual authority.
But prayer, backed by faith and identity, unlocks heaven’s power.
So pray.
Persist.
Occupy.
He’s already listening.
Blessings
