Faith is not for tomorrow; it is for today. Hebrews 11:1 speaks of faith as the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen. In our spiritual walk, we are called to live with “now-faith”—a faith that believes God can do it now.
Too often, we remain stuck in the mindset of striving. We act as though righteousness depends on our actions. But Christianity is not about right acting; it’s about right believing. When we embrace the truth of Christ’s finished work on the cross, we are empowered by grace to live righteous lives.
The power of sin lies in death, but the power of grace lies in life. Through the obedience of Christ, we have been given an inheritance—a life free from condemnation, fear, and the reign of sin. This inheritance calls us to move beyond the cross, past the empty tomb, and into the resurrected life.
When we live grace-conscious, we experience the fullness of life that God has promised. The law shows us our need for a Saviour, but grace enables us to walk in His strength.
Let us stop striving and rest in His righteousness. Today, take hold of now-faith. Step boldly into the life of grace, knowing that His work is finished, and His power is enough.
Blessings,
Prophet Gebhardt
