As we enter this year, I hear the Lord speaking clearly: “Occupy.” This is not just a call to advance but a mandate for consecration. Without consecration, there can be no true occupation of what God has for us.
God’s instruction to Joshua and the Israelites as they faced Jericho was clear: obedience and consecration lead to victory. Jericho was the first city they encountered in the Promised Land, and God required that its spoils remain holy unto Him. Similarly, in 2025, we must give God what belongs to Him first—our time, resources, and devotion.
True consecration is not achieved by our strength but through the Spirit of Grace. It is a call to innocence, single-mindedness, and unwavering faith. Just as God instructed the Israelites to leave Egypt’s slave mentality behind, we must also abandon the orphan spirit and embrace our identity as sons and daughters of the King.
What does consecration look like for you this year? How can you place God first in your life? Let 2025 be the year we walk in obedience, occupy the promises of God, and live as true heirs of His Kingdom.
The Lord is moving powerfully in this season. Let us consecrate ourselves, leave the past behind, and boldly take hold of the Promised Land He has prepared for us.
Blessings,
Prophet Gebhardt
