“You are not just saved from something – you are saved for something.”

At Empower Church, the Spirit of God stirred deeply within me to address the urgency of the hour and the training ground God is using to raise up His prophetic people.

We are in a season of spiritual acceleration. What used to take years, God is now doing in weeks. But acceleration without identity is dangerous. It will only lead to burnout, insecurity, and compromise.

God is not interested in what we can perform — He is after our hearts. He’s looking for sons and daughters who serve not for approval, but from approval.

Identity Before Activity

David could kill Goliath with faith, but it was identity that placed him on the throne. In the same way, many can operate in gifts, but few are secure in their identity. It is sons who carry inheritance — not the gifted.

And in this prophetic generation, Satan is attacking identity more than anything. He wants you to question who you are, so that you never step into who God called you to be.

“Destiny and insecurity are incompatible.”
— Prophet Gebhardt

Don’t Despise the Sheep Field

Like David, many of you are anointed but feel stuck. You’ve received prophetic words, dreams, confirmations — and yet, you’re still delivering bread and cheese. Let me assure you: the sheep field is not punishment, it’s preparation.

The dynamic tension between the ordinary and the extraordinary is where character is forged. You must learn to steward the small to inherit the great.

From Slaves to Sons

Too many in the body are still living as slaves in the wilderness when God is calling them to fight like warriors in the Promised Land. The transition isn’t external — it’s internal. It’s identity. Sons don’t beg for affirmation. They walk in their Father’s authority.

Jesus didn’t prove Himself to the devil — He rested in what the Father said. In the same way, stop fighting for your worth. Your identity must come from Heaven, not from people.

What Now?

If you’re reading this and feeling stirred — good. That’s the Spirit of God inviting you into deeper alignment. This is not the time to shrink back. It’s time to:

  • Die to self
  • Put your hand back to the plough
  • And say, “Lord, I am ready to be trained for purpose.”

God is calling forth a prophetic generation — not just those who can prophesy, but those who can carry His heart.

The question is not whether you are gifted. The real question is: Are you ready to be crushed, so that the anointing can flow?

Because in this house, we are not training performers. We are training prophets.

“Do you love Me?”
