One of the greatest spiritual truths I’ve learned is this: what you are yoked to will determine your direction, your strength, and your fruitfulness.

Too many of God’s people are spiritually drained—not because they’re lazy, but because they are unequally yoked. Whether it’s through trauma, relationships, wrong agreements, or past pain, many are tied to things that were never God’s intention.

Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 6:14, “Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness?” The word “fellowship” literally means to be “in a ship together.” So many are trying to reach their destiny while rowing in opposite directions spiritually.

Here’s the truth:

  • You weren’t created to just survive marriage—you were designed to thrive in covenant.
  • You weren’t saved just to be pulled back by your past—you were saved for something greater.
  • God is not impressed with “above average”—He’s raising a generation who are off the charts.

The power of the blood gives you access—access to peace, access to power, access to purpose. But you can’t walk in kingdom freedom while being tied to spiritual darkness.

If your spirit has felt heavy, if your relationships feel strained, or if your future feels delayed—you may be yoked to something that God is calling you to break off.

But here’s the hope: when the yoke is broken, acceleration comes.
I prophesied over our church on Sunday that this is a season of speed and repayment, where what was stolen will be returned and what was delayed will now be released.

It’s time to exit survival mode and enter kingdom purpose.
