Everything God creates has a purpose.

From Moses to Joseph to Jesus Himself—each carried a divine assignment. Moses knew he was a deliverer (Acts 7:25). Joseph, though young, dreamt of greatness (Genesis 37). Jesus spoke plainly to Pilate: “For this reason I was born” (John 18:37).

But what about you?

God is still writing stories—yours included. You were not born to merely exist. You were born to fulfil divine purpose. Your vision is the map that drives you there. But vision doesn’t come from willpower. It comes from hearing.

“Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” – Romans 10:17

When you stop hearing God, you’ll start hearing voices that don’t carry your calling.
When you stop seeking vision, you’ll follow someone else’s.
When you’re not pulled by promise, you’re driven by fear.

Vision is not optional—it’s essential.

Without vision, hope fades. And Proverbs 13:12 tells us, “Hope deferred makes the heart sick.” But Hebrews 11:1 reminds us, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for.”

In short:
🕊️ Hope fuels expectation.
Expectation requires vision.
Vision challenges the world’s narrative.

God knows the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10). He appoints purpose before your formation (Jeremiah 1:5). But here’s the truth—we cannot walk in God’s intended future if we refuse to let go of the former tools. Just like Elisha burned his plough (1 Kings 19:21), sometimes we need to destroy our Plan B to fully embrace God’s Plan A.

So I ask you:

  • What is God saying to you in this season?
  • What would your eulogy say if it were written today?
  • What kind of legacy will your life leave behind?

You are here because this generation needs what you carry.

Let this be your moment to say, “Lord, expand my vision.”
And may your faith rise to match the future God already sees.

Blessings,
Prophet Gebhardt Berndt
