As we close the chapter on 2024, the Spirit of the Lord is urging us to step boldly into 2025 with hearts prepared for His purposes. Reflecting on the year, the enemy sought to use four key weapons against us: disappointment, criticism, betrayal, temptation and accusation.

Yet, the Lord declares, “Behold, I am doing a new thing!” Each attack was a setup for breakthrough, a preparation for greater fruit in your life.

  1. Disappointment: The enemy used delayed hopes to sicken hearts, but God says, “My promises never fail.” (Hebrews 10:23)
  2. Criticism: Words aimed to divide, yet the Lord reminds us, “Unity commands my blessing.” (Psalm 133:1-3)
  3. Betrayal: Though others may fail us, Jesus whispers, “I will never leave nor forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5)
  4. Temptation: The enemy tried to seduce you into despair, but God says, “With every temptation, I provide a way of escape.” (1 Corinthians 10:13)
  5. Accusation: Satan came to steal, kill and destroy but Jesus came “to give life in abundance (John 10:10)

As we move forward, let us choose forgiveness over offense, faith over fear, and obedience over doubt. The weapons of the enemy are powerless against a life surrendered to Christ. Let’s enter 2025 with renewed hope, declaring, “Victory is ours through Jesus!”

In His Strength,
Prophet Gebhardt
