“You don’t need to finish what Jesus already finished.”
That one truth carries the full weight of the Gospel—and it was the heartbeat of this past Sunday’s message, The Blood Speaks, preached by Prophet Gebhardt Berndt.
In a world filled with striving, disappointment, and wrestling for identity, purpose, and provision—this sermon was a holy interruption. A divine reminder that the blood of Jesus still speaks. And it speaks a better word.
From Saul to Paul
God desires to take us on a journey. Not just from sin to salvation—but from Saul to Paul, from Jacob to Israel, from Struggle to Destiny.
As Prophet Gebhardt declared:
“Wrestling with God isn’t to break you—it’s to shape you.”
We all go through seasons where we wrestle like Jacob—fighting the fear, the past, and the voice of yesterday. But God uses those very moments to position us for purpose. His plan is not to leave you in the place of wrestling, but to lead you into rest. And the key? The Blood.
The Blood Changes Everything
From Exodus to Hebrews, Scripture tells the same story: it is not our performance, our past, or our pain that God responds to—it is the blood of the Lamb.
“It wasn’t the strength of those in the house that saved them… it was the blood on the door.”
Jesus didn’t just save your soul—He secured your tomorrow. And now, like Saul who became Paul, you are no longer identified by your mistakes, your family line, or even your yesterday.
Let Go of the Mat
Like the man at the pool of Bethesda who spent 38 years waiting for a miracle, many believers today still lie on mats of the past—wounded, waiting, and wondering if freedom will ever come. But Jesus doesn’t ask what happened. He asks, “Do you want to be well?”
“It’s time to roll up the mat and walk.”
The invitation is simple: Say goodbye to Saul. Say hello to Paul. You don’t need to carry what the blood has already covered.
Final Word
There is a sound of freedom in the house. A sound of people breaking out of frustration, fear, and failure—into a future marked by peace, power, and purpose. The blood still speaks. And it’s speaking over you.
“You are not your Saul. You are becoming your Paul.”
