God is moving across the earth in a way that no room can contain it. We are seeing the first signs of a great harvest among children and young people, and a fresh boldness rising in the Church. This is an hour to stand, to speak life over our families, and to say with courage; ”Here am I, Lord. Use me”.

A move of God in our time

What the Lord is birthing in this season cannot be contained by walls or programmes. The Holy Spirit is visiting schools and stirring a Holy hunger in the hearts of many. We will see unusual signs, wonders, and miracles. We will see sons and daughters prophesying. We will see the sick healed. We will see courage return to the people of God.

This is not a theory. It is already happening.

The Lord is placing His hand upon the Alpha generation and the Gen Z generation. Where the enemy has tried to sow confusion and fear, God is turning it for good. Expect to hear testimonies from the mouths of the young. Expect prayer in classrooms and courage in playgrounds. Expect the name of Jesus to be honoured in places that once felt desolated.

The battle for the mind

Scripture shows us that the enemy often wages war through words. Goliath paralysed Israel with taunts long before a sword was raised. In the same way, the enemy aims at the mind of the believer.

If he can convince you that you are only your past or your present struggle, he will try to rob you of your future. Yet the Spirit of God renews our minds as we yield to His word. Greatness begins with how you think, then how you speak, then how you live.

David stepped onto the field with a different spirit. He remembered his covenant with God and refused the narrative of fear. He ran forward. He had confidence in the Lord, not in himself. The same Spirit is at work in us.

Jesus, our Head and our Victory

Our confidence is not in our performance. It is in Christ. He humbled Himself, took on human flesh, and destroyed the works of the devil through the cross and the resurrection. Three nails shifted history.

By faith in Jesus we are made new. We are no longer defined by our old nature. We belong to a new order and a new kingdom.

Even when we stumble, Jesus holds us steadfast. Peter sank when he looked at the wind and the waves, yet the Head did not let the body drown. If Christ is your Head, you may face wet moments, but you will not be overcome. Stand up again. Say yes again. The Lord still calls your name.

A word for South Africa

We believe God is at work in our nation for the good of the people. South Africa will be a lighthouse to the nations as the Church rises in prayer and obedience. Do not bow to despair. Lift up the name of Jesus. Agree for righteous leadership, justice, and mercy. Believe for a generation that carries the presence of God into every sphere of society.

A word for parents and guardians

If you are raising children, speak life over them every day. The Lord is visiting this generation. Your declarations matter. Put God’s word in their hearts and in their mouths. Pray with them before school. Bless them before bed. Expect the Holy Spirit to move through them.

Declarations for your home

Speak these aloud over your children:

  • You are loved by God and chosen for such a time as this.
  • You are filled with the Holy Spirit and walk in wisdom and courage.
  • You are a peacemaker, a truth teller, and a carrier of God’s presence.
  • You will love Jesus, love His word, and love His Church.
  • You will see God’s goodness in your school and in your generation.

Turning point people

God is looking for people who will say, “Here am I. Use me”. He is not waiting for polished perfection. He is looking for hunger and obedience. The blind man in Luke 18 would not be silenced. He cast off the blanket of comfort and called out to Jesus. Mercy stopped and turned. In this hour God is turning toward those who turn toward Him.

Your mission field begins at home and moves outward. Be Jesus to your family. Be a witness to your neighbours. Carry hope into your workplace and your city. Refuse the narrative of fear. Refuse to live small. Lift your eyes.

How to respond this week

  1. Watch the full message. Let faith rise as you hear the word.
The Call of God on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xnf89Dgc2PY
  2. Build a simple family altar. Set aside ten minutes each evening. Read a Psalm. Pray together. Bless your children.
  3. Renew your mind. Read Romans 12 verses 1 to 2 each morning. Write one truth you will act on today.
  4. Practice bold obedience. Ask the Lord for one person to encourage, one need to meet, and one step of faith to take.
  5. Partner with the vision. Sow into next generation discipleship and expanding spaces that serve children and families.

A prayer you can pray

Righteous Father, here I am. I yield my life to You. Jesus, be the Head of my home and the Lord of my thoughts. Holy Spirit, fill me with boldness. I bless the children and young people in my life. Mark them with Your presence. Make our church a lighthouse that carries Your love and truth to our nation and the nations. Use me today for Your glory. In Jesus’ name.

 Amen.
